Full Professor in Security Studies, and Chair of Department, Security Faculty, Academy of the Ministry of the Interior in Sofia. Fellowships in Moscow, Russia, and Munster, Germany. Member of International Police Academy. Board Member of the Supreme Certifying Commission on Military & Security Sciences at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Author of many textbooks and research publications, among them History of Bulgarian State Police (2003).
